As a bi-vocational priest, he serves parishes in Brooklyn and Queens, New York, and is especially interested in how the Church can be present with younger people within fast-changing culture. Fr. Bob has degrees in Secondary Education, Higher Education/Student Development, and Theology.
Laurie leads the Integrated Benefits Account Management Services (IBAMS) team. She joined CPG in 2005 with responsibilities for account management and retention, and new group acquisition. In July 2012, she was promoted to lead IBAMS, a new division CPG created to support business-to-business relationships, and to provide consultative service, complex case management, and administrator development. Prior to joining CPG, Laurie served for 12 years as the Director of Finance for the Episcopal Diocese of Maine. She has three children, two grandsons, and lives in Portland, Maine, with her husband, Stephen.

Stokes served on the vestries of Christ Church, Georgetown (Washington), and the Church of St. Luke-in-the-Fields (New York). He has a BA from Wofford College, in Art History and Political Science. He and his husband, Brian, live in Ridgewood, New York.
Clayton is responsible for strengthening CPG’s ties with the Domestic and Foreign Missionary Society, General Convention, and other groups and stakeholders around the Church. Previously, he led CPG’s technology program and served as Chief Information Officer. Clayton has more than 25 years of ordained ministry experience. Before joining CPG in 1999, he was the Associate Rector of All Saints Episcopal Church, Palo Alto, California. He currently serves as a non-stipendiary priest at St. Bartholomew's Parish and Trinity Church Wall Street in New York City. Clayton holds an MDiv from the Church Divinity School of the Pacific.

As Chief Executive Officer and President of the Church Pension Group (CPG), Mary Kate leads a $13 billion financial services enterprise that provides retirement, health, life insurance, property and casualty insurance, and other products and services to the Episcopal Church. She also serves as a member of the Board of Trustees of The Church Pension Fund, CPG’s governing body. Prior to joining CPG, Mary Kate was a senior finance executive and principal corporate officer of Wyeth, one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies. Before embarking on her corporate career, she was a partner and chaired the tax practice group of Shearman & Sterling, a leading global law firm. Earlier in her career, she served in the Office of Tax Policy of the United States Department of the Treasury. Mary Kate chairs the board of the Church Benefits Association, a national association of faith-based benefits organizations. She also serves on the vestry of Trinity Church Wall Street in New York and on its investment committee. Mary Kate graduated from Hamline University in St. Paul, Minnesota, summa cum laude with a BA in English and Theater, and was elected a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She later graduated cum laude from the University of Michigan Law School.
The Most. Rev. Michael Curry is the Chief Pastor and serves as President and Chief Executive Officer, and as Chair of the Executive Council of The Episcopal Church. Bishop Curry was installed as the 27th Presiding Bishop and Primate of The Episcopal Church on November 1, 2015. He was elected to a nine-year term and confirmed at the 78th General Convention of The Episcopal Church in Salt Lake City, Utah, on June 27, 2015. Even at a young age, he learned about social activism through his father’s leadership and his own dedication to righting a broken world. Bishop Curry was graduated with high honors from Hobart College in Geneva, New York, and received a MDiv degree in 1978 from Yale University Divinity School in New Haven, Connecticut. Bishop Curry is the author of five books and numerous publications, including columns for the Huffington Post and the Baltimore Times. He is married and has two daughters.
Frank is responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction for all client-facing programs and business operations. Prior to joining CPG in 2011, he was a Managing Principal and Practice Leader for the Eastern Region for Hewitt Associates’ Health Management Practice, where he served as lead consultant to CPG. Before this, he was an actuarial consultant for Buck Consultants and an actuarial associate for US Life Insurance Company. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries. He holds a BA from Rutgers College, New Brunswick, New Jersey. He resides in Clark, New Jersey, with his wife and three children.
The Rev. Canon Anne Mallonee serves as an ambassador for CPG and is a key advisor. Prior to joining CPG in 2014, she served as Vicar of Trinity Church Wall Street for 10 years. Ordained for over 30 years, she has served at the diocesan level and in campus, parish, and cathedral settings. Canon Mallonee holds a BA from the University of Kansas and an MDiv from Berkeley Divinity School at Yale University.
Canon Stevenson is the principal liaison between Presiding Bishop Michael Curry and the House of Bishops, the various dioceses of The Episcopal Church, and many of the governing bodies and management structures of The Episcopal Church. Before assuming his current role in September 2018, Canon Stevenson was the Director of Episcopal Migration Ministries, and a member of the staff of the Presiding Bishop. Previously, he served as Domestic Poverty Missioner for The Episcopal Church. Canon Stevenson served as Canon to the Ordinary in the Episcopal Diocese of Louisiana from August 2005 until September 2013. Since receiving an MDiv degree from Nashotah House Seminary in 2000, Canon Stevenson has served as Rector in two parishes. He and his wife reside in Hamilton, New Jersey.
Anthony is responsible for managing CPG’s plan policies and designs, including all health and welfare insurance plans, defined benefit plans, and defined contribution plans. Prior to joining CPG in 2012, Anthony served as Team Leader at Tokio Marine North America Services, where he was responsible for the systems, data analysis, plan management, strategic planning, and implementation of employee benefit plans. Anthony holds a Bachelor’s in Operations management from Baruch College in New York City and the Certified Benefits Professional (CBP) designation. Anthony lives in Staten Island, New York, with his wife and three children.
John is responsible for plan design and policy development, financial performance and management, and the overall business strategy for all benefit plans, products and policies. Prior to joining CPG in 2016, he was in the benefits consulting industry for more than 22 years. Working with American Benefits Consulting, Aon Hewitt, and Foster Higgins, he consulted to such Fortune 100 companies as JPMorgan Chase, Verizon, Alcoa, and Morgan Stanley. Before this, he was a group underwriter for Prudential in its Northeast Group Operations. John holds a BS from University of Wisconsin – Madison. He and his wife reside in Chatham, New Jersey.
Anna has more than 20 years’ experience in the financial services Industry. She joined CPG in 2016 and provides financial education to lay and ordained employees of The Episcopal Church. She has comprehensive knowledge of financial and estate planning. Her expertise lies in asset and liability modeling, investments and asset allocation, risk management and insurance, cash flow and tax planning, estate and trust, executive compensation and small business planning. Anna is a Certified Financial Planner and Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist. She is fluent in both English and Spanish and enjoys helping the Hispanic community achieving financial literacy in their native language. Anna lives in New Jersey with her husband and two children.
Tim leads CPG’s voluntary and international account services team. He has spent most of his career at CPG in benefits plan administration and, more recently, in client relations. Prior to joining CPG in 1995, Tim completed his Master’s degree in Washington, DC, where he subsequently held a number of health benefit administration positions. Tim lives with his husband in Montclair, New Jersey, where he served on the vestry of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church. He also served as the President of the Christ Hospital Foundation in Jersey City, and was a member of the Christ Hospital Board of Directors.
Pattie has been with CPG since 1993. Her years of experience cover a wide range of responsibilities for employer-provided benefits, including health benefits, group life, disability, and lay pensions. Pattie oversees the development and management of financial and health education programs and resources. She is a graduate of the College for Financial Planning and has received both the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) and the Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP®) designations through the American College of Financial Services. Pattie resides in Durham Township, Pennsylvania, with her husband and her border collie.
Kathy is responsible for CPG’s educational programs and conferences, including CREDO, Planning for Wellness, and Enriching Your Retirement, and for the CPG.org Learning Center and courses. Kathy has more than 25 years’ experience developing and implementing financial education programs and curricula. Before coming to CPG in 2015, she served as Senior Advisor in the Office of Financial Education at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and was previously Deputy Director for Investor Education for the US Securities and Exchange Commission. Kathy resides in New Jersey and has two children.
Zach builds and maintains trusting and professional relationships with the leadership of international dioceses of the Church and their Covenant Partners. Prior to joining CPG in 2009, he worked in investment finance, including the position of Retirement Planning Specialist with Fidelity Investments. Zach is fluent in Spanish and holds a Bachelor’s degree in foreign language. He lives in northern Utah with his wife and their four children.

The Right Rev. Mark Edington was elected Bishop in Charge of the Convocation of Episcopal Churches in Europe on October 20, 2018. He was consecrated and seated in the Cathedral Church of the Holy Trinity in Paris, France, on April 6, 2019. Prior to his election, he served as rector of Saint John’s Episcopal Church in Newtonville, Massachusetts, and as the founding director of the Amherst College Press. Bishop Edington’s essays have appeared in The Atlantic Monthly, the New York Times, the Christian Science Monitor, Le Monde, among other publications. He is a life member of the Council on Foreign Relations. Bishop Edington graduated from Albion College, Albion, Michigan, with an AB in Philosophy and Political Science summa cum laude, and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa, the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, and Harvard Divinity School.
Steve is the general manager of the Church Insurance Agency Corporation (CIAC), which is the service provider for the Church Insurance Companies. The agency serves 95% of the Episcopal churches in the United States. Steve joined Church Insurance in 1997. He has spent 30 years in the insurance industry, and specializes in risk management and insurance for religious organizations. Steve is a graduate of Syracuse University, Syracuse, New York, and has degrees in Journalism and English Literature. He and his wife live in Saratoga Springs, New York. They have three adult children.
Paul is responsible for the property & casualty marketing and risk management services of the Church Insurance Agency Corporation (CIAC). He leads the Marketing Specialist team, as well as manages a territory consisting of 10 Dioceses. Prior to joining CIAC in 2001, Paul spent 12 years in the for-profit sector with Fireman’s Fund Direct, Safeco, and Nationwide Insurance companies. He holds the Associate, Customer Service (ACS), Associate in Risk Management (ARM), Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), and Fellow, Life Management Institute (FLMI) professional designations, as well as the title of Kentucky Colonel, an honor bestowed by the Governor of Kentucky, for his contributions to church risk management. Paul has a BA from The University of Missouri – Kansas City, in Business Administration and Computer Science. He and his wife live in Franklin, Tennessee, with their two daughters.
Miki represents the Psychological Health faculty for Episcopal CREDO. She earned her BS in Psychology, Masters in School Counseling, and PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision. She has been in practice for 20 years and also teaches part time in a Clinical Mental Health graduate program. Miki also enjoys supervising counselors and working with other people to help professionals take care of themselves. Her specialties include post-traumatic stress syndrome (PTSD) and trauma, chronic pain, sand tray therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) psychotherapy treatment. Miki lives in Kingsport, Tennessee, with her husband and their blended family of six children.
Patrick leads CPG’s benefits compliance team, which is responsible for ensuring that CPG’s pension, health, life, annuity, and disability businesses are operated in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. Patrick is an Episcopal priest as well as an attorney. Prior to joining CPG in 2000, he practiced tax and employee benefits law at two Wall Street law firms. Before that, he served as a law clerk to a federal appellate judge. Patrick holds a BA from Yale College; a JD from Harvard Law School, where he served as an executive editor of the Harvard Law Review; and a PhD in systematic theology from Union Theological Seminary. In addition to his work at CPG, Patrick serves as the Theologian in Residence at Saint Thomas Church Fifth Avenue in midtown Manhattan.
Abagail designs strategies and implements socio economic development programs that increase livelihoods for vulnerable people and reduces their exposure to risk from disaster and disease. Abagail was originally trained as a financial analyst and applied her skills to rebuild self-sustaining communities in post disaster contexts in Latin America and the Caribbean. She later brought her systems acumen to organizing for malaria prevention. Abagail sits on the Board of Directors of IMA World Health and is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. She holds an MSc from the London School of Economics and BA from Harvard College. She attends Grace Episcopal Church in Brooklyn, New York, with her husband and two children.
Joana obtained her Bachelor’s in Counseling from Johnson University, Kimberlin Heights, Tennessee. She also received her Master’s in mental health counseling from Johnson University School of Behavioral Sciences. Currently, she is working at the Sexual Assault Center of East Tennessee, serving individuals of all ages with their sexual traumas. Her fluency in Spanish and English has enabled her to expand services to the Hispanic community. She resides in Hamblen County, Tennessee, with her spouse.

Lauri Begley joined IBAMS in 2018 as the Associate Account Specialist on the Voluntary and International Account Services (VIAS) team. Lauri’s previous position was Director of Parish Life at All Saints’ Episcopal Church since 2006, where she has been an active member for more than 30 years. Her depth and breadth of knowledge of the Episcopal Church, local parish life and her proven client relationship management skills will serve to enhance and support the work of the VIAS team. Lauri will serve CPG’s voluntary clients primarily on the East coast. Lauri lives in Roswell, Georgia, just north of Atlanta with her husband David.
Jeff’s career with Church Pension Group began in 2005 with the Church Publishing division where he served nine years in marketing and sales management capacities. Prior to joining CPG, Jeff was with Morehouse Publishing for several years. His work in the publishing field included managing relationships with the member stores of the Episcopal Bookseller’s Association. In 2015 Jeff joined CPG’s Integrated Benefits Account Management Services (IBAMS) team. With 18 years of experience handling affiliations across the Episcopal Church, Jeff is very pleased to provide service as an Account Specialist to the bishops, dioceses, and select parishes of Province III, along with others located in Province IV and Province V. Jeff enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, following a variety of sports, singing, and playing guitar and other musical instruments. Jeff currently resides in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania with his wife, Linda, and their children, Nicholas and Cheyenne.
Chipasha began his career with the Church Pension Group in 2016. He came to CPG from the Protestant Episcopal Cathedral Foundation (PECF) in Washington, DC, where he worked for over 10 years administering PECF's benefits programs. Prior to serving in the Episcopal Church, Chipasha worked for the City of New York Parks and Recreation department as a Program Analyst for a jobs assistance program. Chipasha holds an MBA from Syracuse University and a BA in Economics from Colgate University. Chipasha lives in Houston, TX, and enjoys playing tennis and cycling.
Kirk joined the IBAMS team in November 2018. Prior to joining CPG, he served as Canon to the Ordinary in the Diocese of West Texas for over twelve years. Kirk owned and operated a small family business in Corpus Christi, TX for twenty years. Kirk holds a Bachelor of Environmental Design (Architecture) degree from Texas A&M University. He and his wife, Lisa, an Episcopal priest, have two grown sons and a wonderful daughter-in-law. They have just relocated to Larchmont, NY where Lisa is the rector of St. John’s Episcopal Church. He enjoys cooking, sailing, gardening and spending time with family.

Jackie began her career with CPG in 2009 working in Client Services as a Senior Client Service Representative, where she handled complex questions, and as a Voice of the Client Representative, providing operational support in training, quality assurance, vendor and data reports. Jackie joined the IBAMS Team as an Assistant Account Specialist August 2015, providing benefit support to administrators of large parishes. Jackie transitioned, to an IBAMS Associate Account Specialist in 2017, and she currently supports diocesan and parish leadership. Prior to joining CPG, Jackie worked at Fidelity Investments, where she was a Retirement Planning Specialist. Jackie and her husband Ryan have four children, and live in Utah. She loves soccer and going on family adventures.
Toni Marie’s responsibilities include marketing, sales, and account management of CPG’s institutional clients, including camps and conference centers, schools, social service agencies, and Episcopal Service Corps programs. She also monitors lay pension participation by Episcopal employers and assists them with adoption of and enrollment in CPG’s lay pension offerings. Prior to joining CPG in January 2009, Toni Marie was the Minister of Finance for the Diocese of Utah, and she has several years of experience consulting with non-profit and for-profit organizations. She holds a Juris Doctorate from the Cornell Law School, and is also a licensed life insurance agent in all 50 states.

Akina joined the IBAMS team in 2015 and supports dioceses and large parishes of the Northeast US. Prior to this, she served as the Coordinator for Health Education on the Education & Wellness team, providing education and support to Episcopal dioceses. Akina began her career at CPG in 2008 with the Medical Trust, later serving as a Business Analyst. She holds a BS in Healthcare Management from the University of Connecticut and is certified by the Wellness Council of America’s (WELCOA) Well Workplace University as a WELCOA Faculty Member. Akina is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and hails from Queens, New York.
Courtney joined the IBAMS Domestic Account Management Team in August of 2017 and serves bishops and diocesan and parish administrators in the West and South Central regions of the US. Prior to joining CPG, her most recent position was Parish Administrator at St. Thomas the Apostle Episcopal Church and School in Houston, TX, where she served for over five years. Courtney also has previous experience in Aerospace Engineering and Non-Profit management. Courtney is proficient in Spanish and holds a BA in Human Biology (concentration in Human-Environment Interactions) from Stanford University. Courtney resides in Houston, TX.
